Apricotlane Boutique is a leading women’s fashion franchise, they train their franchisees to be the fashion destination in their local market. They help marketers to bring new styles earlier and more often than any competitor, and also they charge reasonable prices so they have loyal customers. They continuously try to provide exceptional shopping experience to their customers and for that they have a team who has a fashionista mindset! Almost daily they bought new dresses for women and try to provide unbeatable values in terms of material, fashion touch, color combination etc. So, shopping at Apricot Lane is always a new discovery and truly an affordable “unique boutique” experience!

Problem

Apricotlane Boutique is open to give franchise opportunities to various states in the US. They were using the Magento go platform to run their online business smoothly. But suddenly the news arrived that Magento discontinued Go and ProStores which affected not just Apricotlane Boutique but many other eCommerce businesses. They have almost 12 online stores, and they came to us and asked for the solution, because sudden news was hard to accept for them because if they can’t decide anything then they might face issues and losses.

Solution:

Well, that phase was so difficult for the eCommerce merchants, but we thought differently and suggested they migrate the existing Magento go store to Shopify platform as early as possible. To gear up the migration process we used a ready-made Shopify theme that is close to the Apricotlane Boutique’s brand style, then we made the design level changes according to their needs and wants. Then we started replicating the theme to various different shopify stores and we were able to finish the migration process of all existing 12 stores within 4 weeks. In the 5th week, we have made all the stores live in Shopify. And thankfully till now they didn’t have any complaint regarding anything.

Result:

The Apricotlane Boutique has grown their business from 12 stores to 20 stores in a couple of years. Also many of their stores are doing more than $1M turnover. 2 stores are upgraded to Shopify plus. In the following snap you can see 1M+ revenue within a single quarter.
